Junior division: There is no foul shooting. Instead, the rule is "score one and keep the ball" - the offensive team scores one point and gets to inbound the ball again on offense. If the fouled player made the basket, it automatically becomes a three-point play and the defense inbounds the ball. Offensive fouls (i.e. charging) earn no points.
Senior division: The rule is "score one and shoot one" - the team scores one point and lines up for a free throw. If the basket was made, the offense scores two points and there is a free throw for the three-point play.
Referees will remind scorekeepers to add a point where appropriate.
Normal foul rules apply - there are no points awarded on non-shooting fouls until a team reaches the "bonus" (seven fouls in a half).
