Everyone signs up for what is commonly referred to as the "rec" league. Some boys in grades 3-6 decide to try out for travel teams as well. If a boy makes a travel team, he can choose to play in both leagues (rec and travel), but he must commit to attending all practices (3 per week) and games (2 per week) for both teams.
Generally, rec league practices for grades 3-6 will be either Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday in November, then once per week (either Tuesday or Wednesday) in December and January. Practices will be 60-90 minutes each.
Rec league games will be on Sunday afternoons in December and January.
Travel teams in grades 3-6 practice Fridays in November, Monday-Thursday in December and January, and Tuesday-Thursday in February and March. Travel teams have games on Saturdays in December and January, then five weekend tournaments in February and early March.
First/Second-graders have skills camp and scrimmages on Sundays in December and January.
Most practices and all games are at the Perry Wellness Center.
What do we do on a snow day? If school is cancelled that day, practice is cancelled. If your child had school that day, he or she has practice that night. If school was cancelled Friday, we still have games on the weekend.
